Important information about branch visits:

We are open for essential transactions only
Only visit our branches if it is essential – non essential transactions may be refused

Below is a list of essential transactions that can be done in our branches:

  • Withdraw cash
  • Pay money in, if for essential payments such as Bills, living expenses etc.

Temporary branch closures:

Capel agency: Closed Monday 8th Feb

Halesworth: Closed Monday 8th

Aldeburgh: Closed on Wednesdays from Jan 25th onwards due to resource constraints.

We apologse for any convenience caused.


 Face masks

As of 24 July 2020, you must wear a face mask when entering one of our Ipswich Building Society branches unless you are exempt as per government guidelines.

Please be aware you may be asked to remove your mask by our staff for a short time during your transaction for identification purposes. We reserve the right to refuse entry or conduct your transaction if you do not comply. Abuse towards our staff or other customers will not be tolerated.
