Although a closed issue account, not available for new account openings, our We-Care affinity account still continues to support three local charities: St Elizabeth Hospice, Suffolk Wildlife Trust and the East Anglian Air Ambulance.

Recently we were delighted to present East Anglian Air Ambulance with their annual bonus cheque, totalling £9,848.

East Anglian Air Ambulance provides a helicopter emergency medical service for the people of East Anglian, launched in 2000. Since then they have attended over 20,000 lifesaving missions, with a crew made up of specialist pre-hospital doctors and critical-care paramedics.

The charity has two high tech helicopters which operate from bases in Norwich and Cambridge, each with an average cruising speed of 158mph – allowing the specialist team to get anywhere in the 5,326 miles covered in 25 minutes. Each helicopter carries two flight crew and three clinicians.

For more information about the East Anglian Air Ambulance visit their website.
