Please note, this is an old blog and we no longer offer the products detailed here with features that relate to the Suffolk Wildlife Trust, or Top Trumps.

A safe home for nature

We’ve teamed up with Suffolk Wildlife Trust to add two brand new products to our saving range which offer a giveaway and 50% off the first year of a membership with the trust for the first 200 accounts opened. These brand-new accounts go live on 14th February, to coincide with Nest Box Week.

Good for fledgling savers

Our Suffolk Young Saver is an account for children and young people under 21 years old and comes with a pack of Top Trumps cards for all young savers. These savings could go towards a first car, saving for education or just a quick pocket money fund. With 50% off a year’s membership your children can be fully immersed into the world of Suffolk Wildlife Trust and be engaged with all things wild in Suffolk. Offer available for the first 200 accounts only.

Feather their nests while feathering your own

Our new Suffolk Young Saver and Nature Reserve Regular Saver are the perfect way to build up a savings pot for your own personal needs or lifestyle. If you have young children a Suffolk Young Saver account is the ideal way to set up and kick off their savings journey. Building up a savings pot is helpful for being able to afford those days out that your children enjoy. The Nature Reserve Regular Saver allows members to deposit up to £50 a month (the maximum monthly payment allowed), creating the perfect rainy or sunny-day savings pot for those days out exploring.

Benefits of these accounts

When opening either account you are entitled to 50% off a year of Suffolk Wildlife Trust membership and a giveaway. Offer available for the first 200 accounts only.

Suffolk Young Saver

  • Pack of nature Top Trumps for those opening a Suffolk Young Saver account
  • Suffolk Young Savers can deposit up to a maximum of £15,000 with only £10 minimum deposit required

Nature Reserve Regular Saver

  • Can deposit between £10 and £50 per month
  • Fixed rate of 2.00% Gross*/AER** for 2 years

Why support Suffolk Wildlife Trust

It’s the county’s nature charity and is a brilliant way to support the beautiful county we’re lucky to call home… when you support Suffolk Wildlife Trust, you’re supporting keeping Nature Reserves free, giving access to nature to all. Refer to Suffolk Wildlife Trust’s website to find out more about the reserves and all the great work they do to look after Suffolk’s wildlife. These include:

  • Aiming to restore 30% of Suffolk land and sea for nature by 2030
  • 50 nature reserves across Suffolk rely on the support of members to protect the habitat
  • Targeted action for some of Suffolk’s most recognisable and vulnerable species including swift, skylark and great crested newt

Keep your eyes peeled for more exciting things to come in this partnership, including return to face-to-face Society member events.
