It gives us great pleasure to invite you to attend our AGM on Wednesday 27 March 2024 at Trinity Park, Ipswich IP3 8UH. Refreshments will be served from 5.45pm. The AGM event starts at 6.30pm.

We are delighted to offer members the opportunity to bring a guest to the AGM. Guest places may be subject to a ballot, depending on numbers.

As we’re member owned, you can have your say on the Society’s future governance using your vote. All information on voting is available in voting packs, which will arrive with eligible members from 17 February 2024.

Introducing our guest speaker – Miranda Krestovnikoff

We’re excited to announce this year’s guest speaker will be Miranda Krestovnikoff.

Miranda is best known for her work as a television wildlife presenter and will talk to us about her experiences of walking the Suffolk Coast, and as an accomplished diver of underwater habitats.

A biologist and trained professional diver, Miranda has been the resident wildlife expert on The One Show (BBC One) for the last fourteen years. She was also one of the original members of the Coast team (BBC Two). As well as natural history, Miranda also specialises in history and archaeological programmes and has filmed Wreck Detectives (Channel 4), Hidden Treasure (BBC Two) and Time Trail (UKTV History).

She is the Vice-President of the RSPB, a Patron of Whale and Dolphin Conservation, Patron of Alderney Wildlife Trust, an honorary life Patron of the Shark Trust and a founding Friend of the Canal & River Trust, and she recently become an ambassador for Project Seagrass, Wildstream TV and PADI.
