This week we held a member event at our town centre branch, Mutual House, focusing on Scam Awareness. We were joined by 16 members all keen to hear more.

The session was presented by the Citizens Advice Bureau along with Teresa Kidd, our Compliance Assistant. Topics included how to identify scams, report suspicious activity and protect ourselves against fraud.

Originally we were hoping to have a member of Suffolk Constabulary with us, but unfortunately they could not attend the session. Nevertheless we all had an informative evening, with the chance to ask questions and discuss issues.

We received some great feedback about the event and hope to run similar evenings in the large, comfortable surroundings of Mutual House which provided a wonderful setting.
